Counseling Catalyst Counseling Program Domestic violence can have very harmful effects on victims and survivors. Beyond physical injuries, many people who experience intimate partner violence also experience depression, low self-esteem, post-traumatic stress, and traumatic grief. Counselors at Catalyst are fully equipped to address these issues. They also provide education about the cycle of violence and how to establish healthy relationships. All counseling services are free and confidential to any person who identifies as a victim of intimate partner violence. Regardless of how you describe it, Catalyst can give you tools and support to help you recognize what makes a relationship healthy or unhealthy, because everyone deserves to be treated with equality and respect.
